Job descriptionAt BluePearl Langhorne (formerly CARES) we have a long history of daily whole hospital patient rounds, exceptional patient care with state-of-the-art medicine, collegial and seamless interactions between services. Frequent interdepartmental case discussions and collaboration with the goal of providing the best patient care possible. Well-established 24 / 7 emergency and specialty hospital in Bucks County Pennsylvania serving eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey. Centrally located near beautiful countryside for outdoor activities, with easy access to Philadelphia and New York City, and close to New Jersey beaches. VECCS Level 1 Certified Facility with oxygen cages, transfusion products, multiparameter monitors, and new point of care ultrasound machines for our ER and inpatients. Our hospital was recently renovated to provide opportunity for growth and to better serve our clients and patients. Full in-house laboratory, as well as an adjacent Idexx reference lab. Access to 24 / 7 radiologist reviews, as well as state-of-the-art imaging with MRI, CT, and ultrasound. Langhorne, PA is a quaint and charming town located in Bucks County. Langhorne has many parks and green spaces with walking trails, allowing residents to enjoy the beauty of nature. With a variety of restaurants and shops, there is something for everyone in the area. DVM / VMD degree required. Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine and critical care (ECC) preferred but not required. Ideal candidate will have General Practice (GP) or Humane Animal Medicine practice experience. Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
