Position Type : Part Time - Morning
Pay Rate : $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Must be able to supervise Contractor's personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Ability to exercise sound judgement and render immediate, appropriate decisions, under stressful conditions. Maturity in conduct behavior and attitude. Ability to take orders, follow instructions, accept and assume responsibility for one's actions. Alertness, attentiveness, and professional conduct. Ability to recognize, respond and take appropriate and corrective actions to various situations. Strong moral character. Must possess high standards and be truthful. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in English. Courtesy in inter-person relationships with the public, airport employees, tenants, law enforcement and security personnel. LEOs may be required to provide a court appearance for citations that are issued on behalf of DOTA. Contractor shall provide replacement staffing for LEOs that are required to attend a court proceeding.
Physical Requirements and Environment
Mentally and emotionally capable of performing all duties required for their assigned Post / duties. In good physical health and be fully capable of performing normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion such as standing, walking patrolling for an entire shift(s), climbing stairs, running and self-defense. Ability to perform essential physical tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation, including : Lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. (e.g., fire extinguisher) for a designated distance. Assisting in the safe evacuation of individuals, including carrying a small child or providing support to persons with limited mobility. Subject to a random drug screen. Must be able to exercise physical force, if required, in the execution of their official duties. Be able to successfully pass a security background check conducted by the DOTA pass and ID office. Well-groomed and neat in appearance as officially commissioned representatives of the State. Pass and complete a one-time physical examination within the past 6 months. Pass a 12-panel drug test and pass all future random drug testing. Correctable, vision to 20 / 30 each eye with normal color vision. Able to hear at a normal conversational level. A hearing aid may be used to.
