Job Purpose / Summary :
Duties would include cutting mortise and tenon joints, surfacing and finishing timbers, and moving material with the forklift. Construct and repair timber frames / packages, rafters, posts, beams, and trusses. Call us at (210) 099 -2217 for more information. This position is in Boerne, TX.
Principal / Main Responsibilities and Tasks :
- Working with power tools (skill saw, belt sander, power drill, etc.)
- Working with traditional hand tools (chisel, mallets, etc.)
- Sanding timber
- Distressing timber
- Cutting and cleaning / squaring joinery on timber
- Ability to effectively read plans and details
- Physical demand level must be able to lift to 100 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently
