Position Type : Locum Physician Radiation Oncology

Overview

This locum opportunity provides outpatient-focused Radiation Oncology coverage , including conventional and advanced therapies such as IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery . You will treat adult patients in a Trauma Level 2 facility with a collaborative team.

Practice Highlights

Clinic Hours : 8 AM 4 : 30 PM, Monday Friday (30-min lunch)
No call required
Average Outpatient Volume : patients / day (treatments, follow-ups, consults)
Average Inpatient Volume : 0 1 patient / day
EMR : Aria
Minimum 2-week coverage stretches , ideally 2 on / 2 off schedule with another provider
Required Procedures : Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, SBRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Photon Beam, Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified REQUIRED

Active IA License or Active IMLC REQUIRED

COVID Vaccine REQUIRED

Must be able to start ASAP upon credentialing (temporary privileges available in days)

Clean Background / Malpractice REQUIRED

EMR experience (Aria) HIGHLY PREFERRED

Local / within driving distance HIGHLY PREFERRED

Schedule & Coverage

8-hour shifts : 8 AM 4 : 30 PM

Coverage required for minimum 2-week stretches , ideally 2 providers alternating for continuity

No weekend or on-call responsibilities
