About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in CT procedures

License : CA CRT

Certifications : BLS (AHA), CA Fluoro Certification

Must-Have : Experience with CT procedures on trauma patients, performing stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies)

Description :

Competently performs routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality images.

Works independently, exercising sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.

Delivers accurate results in a timely manner.

Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their families through competent patient assessment.

Attentively monitors patients and communicates effectively with healthcare providers.

Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, and more.

Daily census is approximately 300.

Shift is 4 x 10 nights, starting at 20 : 30 and ending at 07 : 00, from Monday to Thursday, with no weekends.

No on-call requirements exist, although call back opportunities are available on a volunteer basis.

Specific charting system experience is preferred.

Experience with trauma level care is preferred.

Background checks and compliance requirements are necessary prior to submission.
