TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU / Pre-Post Op RN in Espanola, New Mexico, 87532!

Pay Information

$2,483 per week

About The Position

Job Title : RN

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : PACU

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Day shift

Hours per Shift : 40.00

Experience :

  • Two years of current experience required in specialty.
  • Must have completed at least one 13-week previous travel assignment.

License :

  • State nursing license or compact state nursing license.
  • Certifications :

  • BLS certification through recognized organizations.
  • ACLS certification through recognized organizations.
  • PALS certification through recognized organizations.
  • Must pass basic cardiac arrhythmias testing during the first week of assignment.
  • Must-Have :

  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • Description :

    Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.

    Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.

    Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.

    Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.

    Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.

    Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician or standard protocols, and documents according to policy.

    Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care.

    Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.

    Completes patient population, age-specific, procedure, and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.

    Floating between departments and / or local locations within 20 miles is required.
