• Conduct thorough physical examinations and document patient medical histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, prescribe medications, and manage overall patient health.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
• Provide comprehensive patient education on disease management, preventive care, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Develop and oversee patient discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Serve as a patient advocate, coordinating care and resources to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
• Mentor and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
