American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in the Stockton area.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in an outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic
  • Day shift schedule
  • Supervises PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care
  • Utilizes Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to complete required documentation
  • Patient care involves mobility, function, and strength rehabilitation
  • Responsible for implementing and guiding patient rehabilitation programs
  • Assists with business marketing and referral processes as needed
  • Requires effective teamwork and communication with physicians, staff, and patients
  • Must ensure accurate patient documentation, billing, and authorization follow-up
  • Expected to comply with HIPAA policy and maintain patient privacy
  • Works entirely onsite with no travel required
  • Involves prolonged standing, walking, and various physical activities throughout the day

  • Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California required if applicable
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility and transferring
  • Proficiency with computer skills including EMR, typing, and basic software applications
  • Familiarity with DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes
