About The Position

Job Title : Chemo Infusion Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required. First-time travelers accepted.

License : Active Registered Nurse license required.

Certifications : BLS, Chemo (ONS / ONCC)

Must-Have :

• RNS should bring a stethoscope.
• Admission and administration of chemotherapy.
• Patient ratio experience : 1 : 7.
• Ability to recognize and manage side effects of treatment.
• Skills in managing oncologic emergencies such as anaphylaxis.
• Experience with IV push administration of chemotherapy.
• Active immunotherapy and cytotoxic therapy knowledge.
• Familiarity with medications such as antiemetics, antitumor agents, antibiotics, corticosteroids, and hormonal therapy.

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed, and adjustments cannot be made on site.

Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.

The average daily census for the unit ranges from 75 to 90 patients.

There are 80 treatment bays, which include a mix of beds and chairs.

The unit specializes in all cancer diagnoses and various hematological conditions.

The nurse will be responsible for the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy through multiple routes.

Central line management, lab draws, and therapeutic phlebotomy are key responsibilities.

Clinical assessments and management of patients with blood disorders are required.

Staff will have access to critical equipment including infusion pumps and vital monitoring machines.

Care coordination, isolation precautions, and patient / family education are essential components of the role.

Successful candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting.

Scrubs are not provided; a navy / white color combination is required.
