Pharmacy Technician Role $20 to $22 per hour

MedAdventures is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support an innovative PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) center in Sacramento, California. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful work, a collaborative environment, and helping older adults maintain their independence and health.

What You'll Do :

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions for PACE participants.
  • Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing supplies.
  • Package medications accurately for daily and cycle-fill systems.
  • Maintain precise records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and participants to support coordinated care.
  • Support quality and safety initiatives within the pharmacy team.

What We're Looking For :

  • Active Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) required.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
  • Prior experience in a PACE program, long-term care, or retail pharmacy preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassion for older adults and commitment to patient-centered care.
