Tax Manager / Supervisor

An established tax firm serving high-net-worth individuals and businesses is seeking an experienced Tax Manager / Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will primarily review and prepare complex tax returns, provide mentorship to junior staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables for their affluent clientele. Tax Manager / Supervisor Responsibilities :

• Review tax returns prepared by staff accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare complex returns
• Prepare and review basic trust returns
• Mentor junior staff members to facilitate their professional development
• Communicate effectively with affluent clients regarding tax matters
• Contribute to team efforts during peak tax season
• Work with various entity types including single member LLCs, sole proprietorships, S corps, C corps, and trusts
• Handle clients with multiple properties and employees
• Adapt to firm-specific processes and software systems
