Responsibilities Work in a post-acute care environment with coverage across outpatient, inpatient swing bed, assisted living, and long-term care / skilled nursing settings Treat 6 to 8 patients per day, caseload dependent on department needs Patient population includes post-surgical, orthopedic (total joints, ORIF), neurologic (stroke, Parkinson's, MS), sports medicine, and complex medical cases May be required to float between settings within the same day Team supported by 3 PTs, 1 PTA, 1 COTA, 1 OT, and 1 SLP Uses Epic for documentation; experience with Epic is preferred Schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts per week, with flexible start times between 0700-0900 Occasional weekend shifts may be required Expect to achieve a full patient load and productivity expectations by the second week of orientation Departmental orientation is led by the Director of Rehab and typically lasts one week Dress code allows any color scrubs or business casual attire No holiday coverage required 30-mile radius rule applies for eligibility Requirements Current SD PT license required; license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience, excluding clinical rotations Current BLS certification required Experience in LTC / skilled nursing settings preferred Experience with long-term recovery therapy preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-580847.
