As a Home Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in training patients in home hemo or peritoneal dialysis, both in our facilities and in their homes. We are excited to train qualified candidates from backgrounds in in-center hemodialysis, critical care, and home health.
Key Details :
- Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible schedules based on patient caseload.
- On-Call Pay : Competitive pay for on-call rotations.
- Holidays : Rarely required to work holidays.

- Home Dialysis Leader : Contributing to 17% of treatments performed at home, ensuring comfort for our patients.
Essential Responsibilities :
Comply with all relevant laws and regulations for patient care in home dialysis.Educate patients and their partners on self-care techniques for Peritoneal Dialysis or Hemodialysis.Conduct regular home assessments for safety and support.Collaborate with physicians and team members, effectively communicating assessment results.Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records to ensure continuity of care.Participate in infection control and emergency preparedness protocols.Ensure appropriate inventory and order supplies in a timely fashion.Utilize critical thinking skills to enhance patient outcomes and quality improvement activities.Perform lab tests as required and promptly communicate critical values to the medical team.Administer medications and maintain a regular review of patient medication profiles.Provide on-call nursing services as needed.Display flexibility in staffing locations and hours to meet patient needs.Ensure regular attendance and reliability in all duties.Qualifications :
Current RN license in your state, in good standing.At least 12 months of clinical experience with 3 months specifically in home dialysis modalities.Preferred experience in nursing care for maintenance dialysis patients.CPR certification prior to patient care assignments.Ability to distinguish all primary colors.Complete the Home Therapy Nurse Orientation successfully and demonstrate skills annually.Strong English language proficiency for effective communication.Basic computer skills, with proficiency in clinical applications within 90 days of hire.Meet any additional practice requirements for state licensing.Join our team at U.S. Renal Care, an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity!
