Position Summary :
The Production Lead plays a vital role in the daily operations of our manufacturing floor, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and the production of high-quality goods. This position provides leadership and guidance to production team members, facilitates communication, and assists the Production Supervisor / Manager in achieving production targets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record of leadership within a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities :
Provide daily leadership and direction to assigned production team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Monitor workflow and ensure efficient operation of equipment.Assist in training new employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to Production Manager.Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to quality control standards.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding production status, issues, and improvements.Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains and communicate these to the Production Supervisor / Manager.Assist the Production Supervisor / Manager in implementing production schedules and meeting production goals.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor / Manager.Minimum Qualifications :
Must have a stable work history with at least two (2) years of continuous employment in a previous role.Must be able to pass random drug testing as a condition of employment.Minimum of two (2) years of managerial or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate teams.Skills and Abilities :
