Job description

Position Overview :

The Laboratory Technician will provide timely and accurate quality control / quality assurance test results for products produced at our Michigan City plant, contributing to safe and environmentally sound operations.

The role follows a rotating schedule across three shifts : 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, and 11PM-7AM.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a science field (Chemistry or Biology preferred)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality laboratory environment
Legal authorization to work in the USA on a full-time basis
Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, SAP, PI Vision)
Strong knowledge of safe chemical laboratory practices and equipment troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean and hygienic laboratory environment

Represent QA Laboratory in daily production meetings

Execute ISO QMS procedures and standards

Safely manage mercury recycling and waste disposal

Collect, analyze, and report sample data accurately

Perform quality control testing on various samples

Enter results into the quality reporting database (PQR)

Coordinate procurement of laboratory supplies

Participate in equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance

Draft and improve laboratory procedures in line with policies and standards
