Job description

BetterMind Wellness is a growing mental health group practice committed to providing compassionate, accessible care to individuals and families across Michigan. We are newly established and focused on building a client-centered, supportive, and collaborative environment for our clinicians. We value flexibility, autonomy, and transparent communication.

Position Overview

We are seeking a fully licensed clinician in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LLP, or Psychologist) to join our practice on a remote basis. This is a split-fee contractor position. Since we are a newer practice, call volume is still growing — this position is ideal for someone who already has some clients or is looking to gradually build a caseload with the support of marketing and admin provided by our team.

  • Credentialing support (if needed)
  • Billing, scheduling, and administrative support
  • SimplePractice EHR system
  • Marketing and referral generation (we are actively working on outreach and advertising)
  • A supportive operations team focused on helping you build a caseload

What You Bring

  • Fully licensed in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LLP, or Psychologist) — we cannot accept LLMSW, LLPC, temporary, or limited licenses for this role
  • Ability to work independently and provide high-quality clinical care
  • Strong communication skills and timely documentation
  • Comfortable with telehealth

  • Split-fee compensation model
  • Higher percentage once fully credentialed and / or once caseload is established

    • Important Note

  • We are a new practice, which means call volume is currently low, this role is ideal for someone who is patient, growth-oriented, and wants autonomy while building their caseload with support.
