Requirements :
Unlock Potential Through Innovation
Design and implement cutting-edge AAC solutions tailored to each student's unique communication needsCollaborate with students, families, and educational teams to identify the perfect assistive technology toolsProvide hands-on training and ongoing support for AAC devices, software, and communication strategiesSupport academic achievement through specialized AT interventions and accommodationsParticipate in IEP meetings as a vital team member, contributing expertise that shapes student succesProfessional Qualifications
Active California license in Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), or Physical Therapy (PT)OR Valid California teaching credentialCertification in Assistive Technology (AT) requiredAvailability for IEP meetings and collaborative planning sessionsThe Ideal Candidate Has
Deep understanding of AAC principles, devices, and implementation strategiesExperience with diverse assistive technology platforms and toolsStrong problem-solving skills with a creative, student-centered approachExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPassion for advocacy and student empowermentFlexibility to adapt to various school environments and student needsPerfect Work-Life Balance
