Pay Rate : $120 $130 per hour (DOE)

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Mobile, Alabama . This position is based in an outpatient clinic that serves adult patients through both scheduled appointments and walk-in visits.

This is an ideal opportunity for a physician who values quality outpatient medicine, steady weekday hours, and a supportive clinical team environment.

Position Details

Setting : Outpatient clinic (no inpatient duties)

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Contract Length : Minimum 3 months (option to extend)

Start Date : ASAP, upon credentialing

Call : None

Patient Volume : patients per day

Population : Adults (ages 17+)

Common Cases : Chronic disease management, diabetes, hypertension, acute illness follow-up

Support Team : Family Practice Nurse, CNAs, dedicated Medical Assistant

EMR System : EPIC (2 3 days of training provided)

Requirements

MD or DO degree

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Active, unrestricted medical license (Alabama license preferred)

Current DEA and BLS certifications

At least 1 year of outpatient experience preferred (new graduates considered)

Strong documentation and chart completion skills are essential

Compensation & Logistics

Pay : $120 $130 / hour (depending on experience)

Lodging : Hotel provided during the week

Mileage : Reimbursed

Flights / Rental Car : Not provided

Malpractice : Covered while on assignment

Credentialing & Onboarding

Timeline : Approximately 2 3 weeks

Process : Online credentialing application and forms provided after interview

Interviews : Phone interview required prior to confirmation
