About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical First Assist

Experience : Minimum of 2 years preferred, with experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, and OB preferred

License : Michigan license verification required for nurses

Certifications : BLS (AHA), NBSTSA, NCCT

Must-Have :

• 2+ years of experience

Description :

This position requires the Surgical First Assist to support surgical teams in a wide variety of procedures.

The role involves assisting surgeons during operations, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.

Candidates should be familiar with various surgical procedures and tools.

Attendance is critical, with a strict policy in place regarding absenteeism and punctuality.

All absences or tardiness will be monitored and addressed accordingly.

Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalizations will be reviewed with supporting evidence.

Physical copies of certifications are only required if listed above.

References are not required for this position.

A skills checklist must be completed within one year of application for surgical roles.
