As a Security Guard - Telecom Site Patrol - Unarmed in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will be counted on to provide exceptional customer service, using strong communication skills to assist employees, visitors, and guests. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Sat 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Sun 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on duty.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
