Job Description
This nursing position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a preference for a BSN and specialty certification.
Certification / licenses include a current RN license in New Mexico, BLS, ACLS (or obtained within 6 months), and additional certifications like PALS / NRP, TNCC, and CPI as applicable.
Skills needed include the ability to provide age-appropriate care and demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills.
Preferred experience is 3 years, but not mandatory.
Supervision is provided by Nursing Leadership.
Work involves irregular hours, multiple patient care activities, exposure to infectious diseases, x-rays, and unpredictable situations.
Physical demands include emergency response, prolonged standing, patient handling, good body mechanics, and manual dexterity.
Bloodborne pathogen level B applies.
