Job description

Job Title : Solutions Architect - Mulesoft

Location : Chicago, IL - Onsite

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform , RAML , and RESTful principles
  • Architect and maintain API-led integrations , ensuring scalability and reusability
  • Define and enforce MuleSoft best practices , development standards, and governance models
  • Design and implement integration patterns , microservices , and event-driven architectures
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines for automated MuleSoft deployments
  • Implement and manage API security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, etc.)
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the MuleSoft platform and optimize integration performance
  • Lead platform enhancements and contribute to technical thought leadership

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong, hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange)
  • Proven experience as a MuleSoft Architect or Senior MuleSoft Developer
  • Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and integration design patterns
  • Experience in DevOps and CI / CD (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with API security frameworks and governance principles
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent problem-solving , communication , and team leadership skills
  • MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect ) preferred
