About the Role

Innovatus Technology Consultants is seeking a skilled Risk Management Framework (RMF) Engineer to support cybersecurity compliance efforts for federal systems. This hybrid role requires a proactive professional with deep knowledge of RMF processes, NIST guidelines, and DoD cybersecurity policies. You’ll work closely with system owners, ISSOs, and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant system operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, POA&M, etc.) in alignment with NIST SP 800-53 and DoD standards.
• Conduct security control assessments and gap analyses for systems and networks.
• Support system accreditation and continuous monitoring activities.
• Interface with government stakeholders to facilitate ATO packages and compliance reviews.
• Utilize eMASS and other DoD tools to manage RMF workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls and remediation plans.
• Provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices and policy interpretation.
