About the Role

PolicyBind is seeking an experiencedBackend Developerwith strong expertise join our growing development this role youll design build and maintain scalable backend systems that power our web applications and core infrastructure. Youll work on meaningful problems take ownership of your work and collaborate with teammates to deliver reliable systems and well-performing APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust high-performance backend services .
  • Build and maintainRESTful APIsto support web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and manageasynchronous job systemsto handle large-scale background processing.
  • Take ownership of problems end-to-end investigating coordinating and iterating with team members on practical solutions.
  • Ensure system scalability reliability and maintainability through effective architecture and sound engineering judgment.
  • Continuously improve application performance and optimize database queries.
  • Prioritizerapid iteration and efficient deliveryover excessive process or perfectionism.

Requirements

  • 510 yearsof experience in SQL development withPostgreSQL.
  • 510 yearsof experience development.
  • Strong understanding ofasync job system patternsand message queues.
  • Proven experience inbuilding RESTful APIsand backend microservices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering effective scalable solutions.
  • Valuesspeed iteration and adaptabilityover heavy testing frameworks or rigid process adherence.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working autonomously while communicating effectively with a small focused team.

  • Experience withcloud infrastructure(AWS GCP or Azure).
  • Knowledge ofCI / CD pipelinesand modern deployment workflows.
