Accounting Administrative Assistant

Staffmark is hiring an Accounting Administrative Assistant in San Diego, CA!

This role is essential to keeping office operations running smoothly while supporting accounting functions such as billing, collections, and data entry. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced with QuickBooks and general office procedures-perfect for someone with administrative and basic accounting experience.

Pay : $23-$25 / hr

Shift : Monday - Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to staff and management.
• Create and send invoices in QuickBooks and track accounts receivable.
• Follow up on collections, enter, and reconcile bills and payments.
• Assist with basic financial recordkeeping and reporting.
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
• Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
• Support other departments with clerical tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented culture.
