From Inkjet to Inbox-Mail that moves The Inkjet Mail Operator applies knowledge of printing and inserting of mailing equipment, software and integrated systems to process computer output on the printers automated inserting/mailing machine and prepares outgoing mail.

What You’ll Do:

• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Review job bags for specifications, customer samples, and proofs if furnished.
• Gathers component material(s) and positions it to accommodate efficient machine feeding.

Apply postage by selecting the proper feed rate and monitor the machine to avoid errors/jams during the process. Monitor, collaborate, and instruct mailing helpers to achieve consistent performance and product quality. Conduct working knowledge of mail sorting, traying, sacking, and palletizing mail procedures. Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshoot as needed. Maintain safety, quality, maintenance and good manufacturing practices. What You Bring:

• High School Graduate or equivalent. 1-3 years related experience or training.

Experience working in a mailroom, USPS, or print production environment. Machine operators with experience setting up, maintenance, and running machines are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of USPS postal regulations preferred. Physical Requirements:

• Walking 50% | Standing 50% | Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 25–50 lbs. and more. | Ability to stand for extended periods. | Safely move materials weighing 500–750 lbs.| Using manual pallet trucks | Ability to lift, move, and position materials throughout the workday and safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
