American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist (Rad Tech) with at least 2 years of CT and x-ray experience for an acute setting assignment with day shifts and rotating call.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a 25-bed Critical Access hospital serving both acute care and clinic patientsUnit specializes in CT and general x-ray imaging for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populationsAverage hospital census is 4-5 patients; ER averages 3 patients dailyUses Siemens CT scanner, Phillips x-ray, EPIC EMR, and PACS imaging systemsDay shifts typically scheduled as either 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM or 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, four days per weekCall required 1-2 nights per week and coverage every fifth weekend and every fifth holiday, including Christmas Eve and ChristmasWill work independently when on call and during weekendsNo floating to other departmentsMust complete training prior to joining the call rotation; substantial orientation is not providedWill perform general x-ray and CT procedures and manage patient scheduling for clinic, hospital, and ERDEXA experience is a plus but not requiredGray scrubs are requiredAll staff must badge in and out at the facilityFirst-time travelers are acceptedCandidates who previously worked at this facility must have an employment end date at least 6 months prior to considerationFacility considers local candidates; those within 80 miles are classified as local\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years CT and x-ray experience requiredARRT and BLS for Healthcare Providers certifications requiredNorth Dakota imaging license (NDMIRT) requiredExperience operating CT scanners and x-ray equipment and producing diagnostic images requiredKnowledge of radiation safety and strong patient care and customer service skills requiredEpic EMR and PACS experience preferredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
