Tesoro Technology is a high-end Engineering firm seeking an experienced Office Manager for their Roanoke, VA, location. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in office management, preferably in a professional office environment with approximately 30 employees. They should also have experience with day-to-day operations. This is a high-visibility role that involves working closely with executives and senior-level engineers. The position is available as a contract-to-hire opportunity or can be a direct hire for the right candidate.

Summary :
The office manager will be responsible for providing oversight to the local office's day-to-day administrative operations. The manager will facilitate and deliver a range of administrative services, ensuring the office operates efficiently and productively.
Job Duties :
Prepare, monitor, and manage variable expense budgets for the office (ex, office supplies, employee relations)Disperse information and updates to local staff at monthly town hall meetings.Manage the activities, performance, and training of local administrative staff that are not managed through a division. Coordinate candidate interview visits on behalf of PMs and HR.Oversee the accommodations for office visitors (employees, clients, vendors, etc.)Work with corporate HR, IT, and others to offer a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires and promotions within the officeSolicit, select, and manage office vendors and suppliersPrepare reports, invoices, letters, financial statements, and other documents, as neededWork with local leadership to help coordinate internal meetings and meetings with clientsResponsible for event coordination within the office.Provide expert subject matter assistance to all staff on the company ERP system (Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint)Assist PMs with RFPs and project submittals, as neededEngage Corporate Service leadership for support in meeting office objectivesFacilitate IT services for the office (liaison to the IT infrastructure team)Handle confidential and non-routine information as neededEnsure the office is represented within Westwood's Safety and Health & Wellness groupsManage the office “Giving Back” budget and activitiesMonitor office space and seating statusOther duties as assignedQualifications :
A two-year degree and 5+ years of experience are preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and company intranetEffective written and verbal communication is necessary.Ability to utilize critical thinking and judgment to resolve problems and issues independently.Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.Good Organizational Skills
