Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care NP in South Carolina!

About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a short-term locum tenens assignment in South Carolina. This role commences on Sep 17, 2025, and spans a total of 2 days, with shifts from 8 am to 8 pm. The successful candidate will serve as the sole provider, managing both scheduled appointments and walk-in patients in an urgent care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole healthcare provider in an urgent care environment.
  • Manage a mix of scheduled appointments and walk-in patients.
  • Address a wide variety of medical conditions.
  • Ensure all patients receive high-quality and timely care.

    • Additional Information

  • Required Certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
  • Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in South Carolina.
  • Candidates with prior experience in urgent care or emergency rooms preferred, but those with experience in high-volume family practices will also be considered.
