As the Supportive Health Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through :
Assisting the Nurse Manager, RN’s and LPN’s with managing the heath care needs of the individuals served in the agency’s Residential Program.
Remaining in communication with Program staff and management, providers, nurses, doctors, ER staff, case management, pharmacies, parents, guardians, advocates, school administrators and Agency leadership.
Providing direct support to individuals served in the agency as-needed.
Possessing knowledge of basic medical terms, proper medication administrations, and other clinical disciplines.
Supportive Health Assistant Minimum Salary : $21.73 / hour
Supportive Health Assistant Maximum Salary : $21.73 / hour
Supportive Health Assistant Schedule : M-F 8 : 30am – 5pm; May be required to work extended hours or a flexible schedule with short notice
Qualifications :
Valid NYS Driver’s License
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional in the I / DD field
