Sr. Automation Engineer (AGV / ASRS)

Direct Hire / Permanent Position

Target Starting Salary : $120,000-$160,000 / year

Onsite in Buffalo Grove, IL (Relocating to Libertyville, IL in 2026)

Company Overview : We are a leading high-volume medical device manufacturer expanding our operations with a state-of-the-art facility in Libertyville, IL, set to be operational in 2026. Our goal is to incorporate cutting-edge Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in our new warehouse to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert to oversee the selection, implementation, and operation of ASRS and AGV systems for our new Libertyville plant. This individual will initially work from our Buffalo Grove facility, engaging in strategic planning and system development to ensure a seamless transition to the new site. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise with ASRS and AGV technology, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and high-level stakeholders.
