Systems Engineer I

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer I to support, maintain, and enhance the systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support by minimizing end user impacts during software installations and resolving technical issues

Conduct system testing to verify functionality, stability, and performance of software and upgrades

Continuously monitor and enhance systems and processes to improve technical effectiveness

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in a systems support role, or a High School Diploma / GED with 5 years of experience

Knowledge of Microsoft and IBM product support

Exposure to operating systems including Windows Desktop, Server, Linux, and AIX

Understanding of data flow, network interfaces, and protocols such as TCP / IP and DNS

Ability to be on call 24 / 7
