Minimum Job Requirements
Physical- sedentary work, proficient in using a 10 key and proficient in using a PC keyboard. Ability to attend job fairs, schools and other institutions to recruit new employees.Working Hours- fulltime (40 hrs / week) employmentOccasionally move products or office materials independently weighing up to 30 pounds with or without accommodation.Occasionally stand (if able) for an extended period of time when attending career fairs or employment events.Personal Traits- Good communication and telephone skills with pleasant demeanor. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy.Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and facilitate company orientations for new hiresPartner with hiring managers to determine staffing needsMaintain and update employee records in HRIS personnel filesProvide support to supervisors when dealing with disciplinary actions including supporting the documentation of these actions.Support the resolution of employee conflictServe as a resource to employees within the scope of the positionManage employee change paperwork and effectively communicate changesConduct in-person and phone interviews with candidatesMonitor and track compliance training completions and certifications in KPAAdminister appropriate interview process and hiring assessmentsWork with staffing agencies to obtain temporary employees. Maintain relationsPerform reference and background checksCommunicate employer information and benefits during screening processManage new hire paperworkStay current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practicesServe as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations and participate in career fairs and drive community outreach programs.Train employees on company policiesDevelop training tools.Other ad hoc duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to generate and deliver training programs.Able to handle conflict and de-escalate tense situationsAble to enforce rules in a compassionate, yet consistent mannerSolid written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsKnowledgeable on affirmative action plans and programs.Excellent ability to communicate with tact and professionalism.Good organization skills must be able to multi-task.Experienced in the use of Word and Excel.Ability to work independently and also as a team. Minimum Education : Associate's degree in human resources or related field, or 2-3 years' experience in Human Resources. Bachelor's degree preferred.
