About The Position
Cardiovascular Surgery PA / NP - No Call Assignment in North Carolina
We have an ongoing locums assignment for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in cardiovascular surgery available in North Carolina. This inpatient role offers a consistent block schedule and excellent support.
Practice Setting
- Inpatient cardiovascular surgery service
- Manage 8-14 adult patients per shift
- Support from RNs, MAs, and 3 other APPs
- Minimal solo coverage assignment
Schedule
Consistent 7-on / 7-off block schedulingNo call requirementsOngoing assignment for a long-term needProcedures and Cases
Focused on cardiac and thoracic surgery patientsInpatient rounding, consults, admissions / dischargesProcedures : removal of chest tubes and bedside pleurodesisRequirements
Active North Carolina license requiredMust have 24 months of experienceActive ACLS and BLS certificationsCredentialing Requirements
Credentialing timeframe is 90 daysRequires active NC license and DEA in hand to startTravel Accommodations
