Job descriptionLine routing and structure analysis Sag-tension calculations, wire blowout, swing angle, and damper recommendations Structure spotting and clearance reports Wire selection and loading tree development Prepare construction specifications, hardware / material lists, and cost estimates Design structures and hardware for high-voltage overhead transmission lines Provide field installation supervision and technical support Mentor and guide junior engineers Serve as a technical lead and interface with clients Conduct quality reviews and ensure compliance with design standards Other duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program (required) EIT certification or PE license (strongly preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in high-voltage overhead transmission line design Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related tools (preferred) Experience with 69kV to 500kV line design Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

We are seeking a Staff Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to support a growing Transmission & Distribution practice. This role involves leading and performing engineering responsibilities related to high-voltage overhead transmission line design.

PLS-CADD modeling
Qualifications :
A master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience
