Job descriptionProvide skilled nursing care, assessments, and individualized care plans for patients Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments following best practice guidelines Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and families to coordinate care and evaluate patient progress Apply palliative care and end-of-life principles with compassion and professionalism Supervise and support LPNs and Home Health Aides as needed Promote patient safety and adhere to infection control and Care Center policies Active Florida RN license and CPR certification (American Red Cross or AHA) Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; experience with terminally ill, chronically ill, or acute / post-acute care preferred Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and care coordination skills Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and bending Flexibility to work at alternate facilities as needed Mission with Meaning : Deliver compassionate care with dignity and empathy Belonging & Connection : Work in a collaborative culture where every voice matters Growth & Support : Access to professional development, training, and mentorship Diversity is Our Strength : Celebrate and embrace different perspectives and experiences
Registered Nurse - PRN (Day Shift 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM, Flexible Hours)
Empath Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Care Center team. In this PRN role, you'll provide skilled nursing care to patients with life-limiting or complex illnesses, supporting families and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. This position is PRN Day Shift (8 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM) with flexible scheduling.
