Overview

Hiring Companion Caregiver - North County Area. United Care is a home care provider that values growth, dedication, and compassionate care. We offer a supportive team environment with 24 / 7 support and ongoing training to help both clients and caregivers thrive. This role provides meaningful, one-on-one, non-medical care to older adults in their own homes.

Location : North County Area

Base pay

$41,600.00 / yr - $47,840.00 / yr

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and simple meal preparation
  • Support daily routines such as grooming, medication reminders, and mobility assistance
  • Help with errands or provide transportation if needed
  • Observe and report changes in health, behavior, or environment

    • Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred (not required)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (per state requirements)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active car insurance
