Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS), processes, and procedures.
- Oversee production processes, inspect products or services, and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and potential problems.
- Make sure that products and processes meet established quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Supervise and guide quality control personnel, providing training and support to ensure they have the necessary skills.
- Prepare reports on quality performance, findings, and recommendations for senior management and other stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.4+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing engineering roles.Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry.Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis.Experience with ISO standards and internal / external audit processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply statistical analysis.Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.Certification in quality or process improvement (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green / Black Belt).Hands-on experience with ERP / MRP systems and quality modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics.Knowledge of advanced quality methodologies such as Design of Experiments (DOE), MSA, or reliability testing.Proven experience leading cross-functional quality improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
