Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedic experience for a day shift contract in a general outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient clinic providing general orthopedic care
  • Patient population consists primarily of general outpatient ortho cases
  • Day shift, 8 hours per shift
  • Expect to see 12-14 patients per day with double-booking of follow up visits
  • Productivity expectation of 60 visits per week
  • No floating to other clinics required
  • Primary duties include evaluation and treatment of patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting
  • Must be able to maintain productivity standards and manage a high patient volume
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Does not accept PTA candidates
  • Overtime must be approved by director before being worked
  • 36 hours are guaranteed with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Local candidates are accepted

    • Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • New graduates are not accepted
  • Ability to handle productivity standards and double-book appointments
