VistA MUMPS Developer

A company is looking for a VistA MUMPS Developer for a remote position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities :

Write, modify, and maintain MUMPS code for the VistA system

Implement new functionalities and maintain system performance while addressing security vulnerabilities

Integrate VistA with other healthcare systems and provide technical support

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in IT and / or Federal Government contracting

Proven experience as a MUMPS developer within the VistA environment

Hands-on experience with VistA Kernel components and utilities

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing practices
