Three insurance plans are available to protect your family from the sudden loss of income in the event of your death, terminal illness or serious injury from accident. Both short-term and long-term disability insurance to replace a portion of your income if you become disabled and cannot work for a period of time. Pediatric Hospitalist opening : Kennebec County, ME Located 55m to Portland Candidates must be comfortable with neonatal resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill newborns while awaiting transfer to a tertiary care center Position Details
- Full-time, permanent
- Provide care for newborns (level II nursery), pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults at a state-of-the-art facility
- Team of 4 full time Pediatric Hospitalists and 30 full time Adult Hospitalists
- 13 shifts per month with flexible scheduling
- 12 or 24 hour shifts available (6 : 30am-6 : 30pm)
- Provide care independently each shift with support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia and family practice physicians
- Average daily census of 4-6 patients
