POSITION SUMMARY :
As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will provide exceptional patient care utilizing both basic and advanced medical practices. Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of care while demonstrating compassion and professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities :
Assess emergency situations to determine effective action and utilize established Paramedic protocols.Employ medical skills and equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous therapies.Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding and reassurance.Lead as a team Paramedic, managing the scene and coordinating with colleagues and other health and public safety professionals.Implement triage skills for efficient patient care during emergencies.Provide accurate documentation of patient care and billing to ensure compliance and proper information flow.Maintain the ambulance's condition, ensuring it is clean and fully stocked for each response.Collaborate with receiving facilities to relay critical information and receive medical direction.Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently, following best practices for minimizing response time.Continuously update and maintain required certifications.Engage positively with communities through local programs, promoting AMR and building strong relationships.Minimum Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.National Registry Paramedic Certification.Montana State Paramedic License within 60 days of hire.Valid State Driver's License.Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, or PEPP certifications.Driving record in compliance with company policies.Experience :
