The Role

Customer Success Specialists (CSS) are the face of Certu, serving as the first and main point of contact for our customers. They own the day-to-day execution of logistics operations, from onboarding new customers to supporting and assisting existing accounts. The CSS will monitor and coordinate operations through communication directly with drivers, warehouse operators, transport operators and other third-party logistics providers. These operations include shipment plan execution, exception handling, and crisis management, amongst others. Ultimately, the CSS works to ensure all shipments arrive on time and in full.

The CSS will also be responsible for training and guiding our customers operations teams to assume day-to-day monitoring and execution of their logistics and transport operations through Certus products.



Additional Responsibilities

  • Track KPIs and utilize data to foster process improvements
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement resolutions to improve operational efficiencies


The Candidate (Required)

  • 5+ years experience in related operations roles involving direct execution, providing front-line support, and other time-sensitive business processes and activities
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude and the will to invest every effort necessary to make our customers successful
  • Experience managing multiple fast-paced, complex projects concurrently and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly evolving environments and business needs
  • Demonstrate calm and composure while managing business crises involving urgent, business-critical and time-sensitive issues
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a bias towards action
  • 4-Year degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing environment
  • Collaborate with and mutually-support individuals ranging from executive leaders to front-line managers
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time when necessary
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams, 365, Excel, etc.


The Candidate (Preferred)

  • Experienced working with enterprise software (Oracle, SAP, Epicor, etc.)
  • Certified in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Fluent in Spanish
