Company Intro:

Advanced Interiors is the industry leader in providing interior finishes to the residential new home market. We also serve the retail, remodeling, commercial, and multi-family markets, focusing not only on the products, but also the services that the new homebuilder needs. Our business has grown to include flooring, a full offering of cabinetry, and a Stone Division where we fabricate and install granite, marble, and quartz.

Shift Hours:

Monday - Friday, typically 8 hour shifts worked on an individually set schedule. Optional unpaid lunch.

Position Summary:

CAD positions exist to provide accurate and detailed drawings, programs, schedules, and instructions to the production floor based on templates provided from the field white maintaining inventory integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Utilize ProgeCAD software to create accurate and detailed geometry and production prints based on information provided from Templating department

● Utilize AlphaCAM software to program CNC machines using diverse tool library

● Utilize Slabsmith SlabMaker software to create aesthetically pleasing layouts, digital remnants, and placement ready cut files for the BACA RoboSaw/Jet

● Utilize RoboCut software to ensure ready to cut programs

● Assign and delegate material to jobs for Material Handling department

● Manage material inventory in Moraware

● Work closely with other departments to develop production best practices

● Assist production floor daily with remakes/reworks, material and program adjustments, and print interpretation

● Research, measure, and draw sinks, cooktops and other kitchen appliances based on manufacturer specifications

● Schedule production activities in Moraware

● Upload production files to Moraware

● Maintain server and file organization

● Other duties and responsibilities

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 30 pounds repetitively and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.
