Role Overview
Provide thorough patient assessments, including airway checks and respiratory evaluations.Deliver crucial respiratory therapies such as oxygen administration and aerosol treatments.Assist with the placement of artificial airways and management of mechanical ventilation.Monitor patient responses to therapy and intervene appropriately during emergency situations.Transport ventilator-dependent patients safely.Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.Neonate Resuscitation and PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications within the same timeframe.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and state licensure are required.Henrico Doctors' Hospital provides advanced healthcare services in Richmond and operates a 340-bed facility recognized for its excellence in various fields, including trauma, cardiovascular care, and robotics.
