Position Description

The District Development Manager will report to the Market President and will coordinate special events, support donor relations, and facilitate JA Learning Experience delivery. The position requires a flexible work schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plan and coordinate special events under the direction of the Market President
• Manages friend asking friends events on annual event plan and implementation to ensure each event meets its goals (fundraising, awareness, networking, educational, etc.).
• Grow and increase participation in special events, including bowling, trivia, on-campus peer-to-peer fundraising, etc.
• Monitor and track the fundraising goals for each event and ensure that the financial goals are met within each event while operating Q-give and online donations.
• Supports Market President with new and existing partnerships.
• Works alongside the Market President as a JA liaison, maintaining positive account experience throughout JA Learning Experiences.
• Offers insights and ideas to improve the partner experience.
• Assist Market President with requested reports, assisting with communications and other support needed to meet their funding and education goals.
• Assist with individual Dashboard management : through segmentation of donor communication / asks by giving level and giving history, w / focus on “moves management” i.e. increasing each donor’s gift each year

o   Prepare pertinent donor info / background for Market President prior to all donor meetings

o   With support from the data specialist track specific donor information as directed including pledges, grants and giving opportunities

o   Provide data to assist w / special “thank you” messages, celebration of donor milestones, personalized “asks” etc.
