An established insurance defense law firm is hiring a Legal Assistant in Miami, 33156. This is a permanent position offering a hybrid schedule and full benefits. Compensation is up to $65,000.00

About the law firm : This is a large insurance defense law firm focused litigation and trial; first-party property insurance and third-party liability coverage claims, premise liability, commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and products liability claims. Over 30 attorneys with multiple locations throughout Florida.

About the position : A friendly easy-going office environment offering a hybrid work schedule. The Legal Assistant will assist a group of Litigation Attorneys and Paralegals with all duties related to the case such as E-Filing in both state and federal court. Scheduling hearings, mediations and depos. Calendering important court dates and reminders as well as general support as needed.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of litigation legal support

Must know how to E-File in Florida

Strong organizational skills

Team player who works well in group settings
