Job Title : Java Full Stack AWS Lead / Developer

Location : Remote

Job Type : Contract

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of Java Full Stack applications in AWS Cloud.
Develop front-end (Angular / React / JavaScript) and back-end (Java, Spring Boot, microservices) components for high-performance healthcare insurance platforms.
Translate healthcare insurance workflows into efficient technical solutions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and industry regulations.
Build and integrate solutions for claims processing, member enrollment, eligibility, provider networks, and EDI transactions.
Establish and maintain CI / CD pipelines, implement DevOps best practices, and ensure high code quality through reviews and mentoring.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and domain experts in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Optimize applications for cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Java / J2EE (Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices).

Strong Full Stack development expertise with Angular / React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript.

3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation).

Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Deep expertise in healthcare insurance domain (claims adjudication, EDI 837 / 835, HIPAA compliance, payer / provider systems).

Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Code Pipeline).

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Must Have :

Progressive and demonstrated experience in the following :

TDD (Test Driven Development)

Agile Delivery

Recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical organizations, including performance management Supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers

Like to Have :

Big 5 Consulting Experience

Experience in Delivery Roles outside of Development / Engineering (Project Management, QA, Analyst etc.)
