Job descriptionDemonstrated experience as a Construction Estimator. Strong knowledge of construction systems, methods, and materials. Proficiency in quantity take-offs, square-foot estimating, and cost analysis. Familiarity with accounting principles, project management practices, and construction contracts. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving ability. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven negotiation capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency in estimating software, including RS Means and comparable platforms. Experience with bidding platforms such as Planhub, ConstructConnect, iSqft, IonWave, and Bonfire. Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent credential preferred. Collaborative, team-oriented professional with a strong commitment to growth and development. Client-focused demeanor with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Professional presence and the ability to represent the firm positively with clients, subcontractors, and industry professionals. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results under pressure.

About the Role
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project documents, and supporting competitive bids. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proficiency with estimating software and bidding platforms, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Salary : $65K to 100K
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs, square-foot estimating, and cost analysis.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align estimates with project requirements.
- Utilize estimating software and bidding platforms to prepare and submit bids.
- Research and analyze market conditions, subcontractor pricing, and industry trends to ensure competitive estimates.
- Support contract negotiations with accurate and well-documented cost data.
