Job descriptionPlan, develop, integrate, and assess PSYOP / MISO into campaign plans, OPLANS, and in crisis to ensure that PSYOP / MISO capabilities are considered in the deliberate and crisis action planning processes. Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills. Be creative in using information systems and information related capabilities (IRC); integrate with interagency and intelligence community (IC); develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Information Environment (IE); consider significant cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments. Demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IO-related directives in support of mission elements. Apply technical skills to tactical, operational, and strategic level planning / execution; identify and track measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness; provide advice concerning the application of PSYOP / MISO during the development of operational concepts. Utilize expert oral, visual, and written communications and briefing techniques to effectively advise, negotiate, and persuade managers, military officials, and senior leaders to gain acceptance of recommended concepts, ideas, guidance, policies, and regulations. Minimum of 8 years with BS / BA. May consider an additional six years of relevant experience or Associates degree and four years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 8 years of planning experience in the PSYOP (37A / 37F) or IO Planner (FA30) career field or other related military equivalents. Minimum of 5 years of experience with MISO or IO planning and execution at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces; knowledge of joint operational planning process, military decision-making, and campaign plan planning; experience developing and accessing tactical and operational level PSYOP / MISO plans, orders, and series. Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force) functions and their relationships to CCMDs to coordinate PSYOP / MISO actions in appropriate channels. Familiarity with other IO competencies to assist CCMD planners. U.S. Citizenship required and possession of a U.S. Passport. Active Top Secret with eligibility to obtain SCI (TS / SCI) clearance prior to start date, based on current security background investigation. Experience with joint and / or combined military operations and inter-agency coordination. Knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies. Ability to plan, integrate, execute, and assess PSYOP / MISO into plans and operations. Knowledge of military command relationships and C2 procedures. Able to coordinate PSYOP / MISO actions within proper channels and develop policies incorporating C2 principles. Ability to engage senior leaders and staff and conduct complex briefings to large audiences. Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations; familiarity with MILDEC, OPSEC, EW, and Cyberspace operations; coordinating intelligence requirements. Graduate of POQC (37A / 37F) (FA30), MPDAC, or Special Operations / Military Deception Planners courses.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. Salary is determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, location, and contract considerations. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus may apply depending on the position.
